Tension clamps are mainly used to fix conductors and lightning conductors in overhead power lines or substations, and connect them to tension insulators through connecting hardware, or to connect lightning arresters to towers. Put the cleaned aluminum tube (outer diameter D) into the wire end and pull it 1m away from the wire end. 3. Use a vernier caliper or a tape measure to measure the size l 2 of the front end tube of the steel anchor, measure the length of the steel core to be stripped from the end O of the wire ON= l 2 + Δl mm (Δl is 15mm), make a mark, and tie it at a distance of 20mm from the mark Take the newly tied wire P. 4. Open a section of aluminum strand at the end O, and fasten the exposed steel core end with a binding wire. Then use a cutter (or aluminum wire stripper) to cut the outer and middle aluminum strands at the mark N. When cutting the inner aluminum strands, only cut to 3/4 of the diameter of each strand, and then break the aluminum strands one by one. When stripping the aluminum wire, it is strictly forbidden to bruise the steel core. ) 5. Crimp the steel anchor A. Select the steel pipe die "Cd#" that is consistent with the outer diameter d of the steel anchor. The installation instructions for the NY tension clamp in the substation should verify that the diagonal angle of the hexagonal die is dmm; B. Press the steel After the core is cleaned, rotate and insert it into the bottom of the steel anchor along the stranding direction of the steel core, and the end of the steel anchor exposes the steel core with a length of about 15mm; At this time, the wires on both sides should be kept horizontal with the steel anchor, and consistent with the axis of the hydraulic press, so as to reduce the possible bending of the pipe after being compressed. D. Crimp the front end pipe of the steel anchor. The direction of crimping is from the groove of the pipe to the pipe mouth. When applying pressure, the two adjacent molds should overlap at least 5-10mm. After compression into a regular hexagon, the distance S between the opposite sides of the regular hexagon should be verified. The allowable value of S is: S=(0.866*0.993d)+0.2. After molding, use a standard caliper to check the size of the opposite side distance after pressing. (Note: The actual pressure of the hydraulic pump should not be lower than 80Mp, and when the pressure reaches the specified value, it should be maintained for 3-5s). Continue hydraulic operation only after the standard is met.
